How we verify every fee

  • Each amount is taken from the official government page that offers the service, never from consultants or news reports
  • We keep the exact wording from that page and link to it in the table
  • Each row shows the date it was last checked
  • Fees we could not confirm on an official page are left out, even when widely quoted elsewhere

Government fees change, and typing centres add their own service charges. Always confirm on the official page before you pay.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official government website?

No. My Business Setup is an independent information site. It is not linked to, run by or endorsed by any UAE government authority. Each fee links to the official page it came from, and you should always confirm the current fee with that authority before you pay.

Where do these fees come from?

Every fee in the table was checked on an official UAE government website, such as ICP, MOHRE, the Dubai Land Department, RTA, the Department of Economy and Tourism, the Federal Tax Authority or the UAE government portal u.ae. Each row links to the exact page.

How often is this database updated?

We re-check every fee against its official source regularly and show the date each one was last checked. Fees change, so always confirm on the official page before you pay.

Do these fees include VAT and service charges?

Only where stated. Many government services add service or knowledge and innovation fees, and typing centres charge their own service fee. The details column says what each amount covers.
