Golden Visa for Students & Graduates
Outstanding students and top graduates can qualify for a UAE Golden Visa of 5 or 10 years. It rewards high academic achievement — strong grades at a leading UAE or internationally ranked university — and usually needs a recommendation or confirmation from the university or the education authority.

How the students & graduates route works
The UAE offers Golden Visas to attract and keep top academic talent. If you are an outstanding student or a recent high-achieving graduate, you may qualify for a 5- or 10-year residency based on your grades and the standing of your university — not on salary or investment.
Two things decide it: your academic record, and a letter from your university or the education authority confirming you meet the criteria. Because eligible-university lists and GPA thresholds are updated over time, check the latest requirements first, and apply within the allowed window after you graduate. If you later start working, you can move onto the skilled professional or salary route. See every option on the Golden Visa guide.
